The Pisces Fleet has reported another action-packed week for the second week in 2024. The striped marlin release count remained steady for those searching for billfish action. The good news is that the stripers are showing in various areas surrounding Land’s End, indicating they should be in the neighborhood for a while.
Not to be overlooked in surface action are a host of additional willing species, many of whom are equally tough fighters – yellowfin tuna, dorado, and wahoo – are also being caught on some of these banks by trolling with the same live bait and marlin lures.
