The week is once again a perfect Cabo week – great for fishing, great for water sports, great for tanning, and great for escaping all the cold weather in the rest of the world.  Once again, clear skies, smooth seas, with waves not above ten feet. Water and air temperatures remained in the mid-80s, creating ideal conditions for our experienced captains and crews to take their clients out fishing.

P “KARINA,” a 30-foot Bertram, with Captain Orlando Murillo and Mate Jorge Velez, took their couple, Russell Crandall and Traci Hassell, from Waller, Texas, to the Pozo Cota location, where they caught and released. One 100-pound Striped Marlin on bait. The weather was pleasant, and the couple enjoyed the day.

On the 42-foot Cabo Flybridge, the “CALIENTE,” Captain Jaime and Mate Luis rang the bell for their SOLO angler, Jaime Gonzalez, from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They headed towards the Migriño Bank, where Jaime Gonzalez caught and released Four 90-pound Striped Marlin on bait, One 15-pound Dorado on bait, and One 60-pound Wahoo on a Rapala, all at the Migriño.

Hussein Kudrati, James Buckley, and Paul Grupta, anglers fishing on the “KNOT WORKIN,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, with Captain Tito and Mate Lalo, tried their luck at the Los Arcos where they caught and released Two 120-pound Striped Marlin on lures and One 45-pound Wahoo on dead bait, both at the Los Arcos. The anglers were pleased with their crew choice and confirmed they would request them again when they returned to fish in Cabo.

With laughter and fun, the fishermen were full of stories to last a lifetime.
